At Talk Yo Ish Foundation, we believe in the power of community. We strive to collaborate with our community of Brazos Valley to uplift individuals and provide the children with the tools they need to thrive.

LaBrandon J Searcy born and raised in College Station, Tx was raised by his Grandmother Malvonee Merchant in the Pecan McCullough District about a half mile from the Texas A&M University. His Mother Cynthia Searcy, Janis Thurmon, and a huge host of Aunties, Uncles, teachers and coaches were the village for LaBrandon. LaBrandon was a very good athlete who excelled in multiple sports. He played soccer at a young age for a competitive league The 84 Brazos Magic. Baseball his "favorite Love" came from his watching the game with his
Great Grandparents Freely and Minnie Calhoun. He played for the College Station Allstars in 1996. Always a good football player from a young age of playing in the heated rivalries with cousin's friends in the community he became a tough individual and dreamed of playing football for the Aggies. He attended A&M Consolidated High School Class of 2001. At the early age of 12 LaBrandon begin to get into the street life and eventual faced incarceration. Bad choice after bad choice led him into the system and shattered all the dreams, he had of playing ball. The continued street life led him to prison where he served a 10yr sentence. He realized while serving this time that he had to make better choices and take rehabilitation and correction seriously. After release in 2017 LaBrandon utilized his resources and started a welding business, also a business with his two brothers Melvin Jr, and Terrance Bowser. LaBrandon felt a different calling and mission that God placed on his heart and he begin Coaching youth football (XFactor) under Ty Warren the New England Patriots Super Bowl DL and Former Aggie. He then went on to being the President of Free world Elite Sports under the guidance of Kenneth Calhoun the CEO/Founder of the program, there he was able to mentor the youth through sports and various programs. He has begun doing podcasting that highlights the kids in our community as well as serious topics and discussions involving our community. and continues to serve the kids with different activities and special interviews at sporting events. LaBrandon had one mission upon being released and it was to do everything he could to make sure that no Kid that he is blessed to mentor or be in their lives that they won't end up in prison. LaBrandon is a member of Christ Holy Church in College Station, Texas.
